Pathibhara Devi, situated at Taplejung, is very popular among all Nepalis, both in Nepal and abroad. Worshipping Pathibhara Devi will bring positive vibes to devotees, as it is believed that if devotees worship with pure intention, then their wishes will be fulfilled by Pathibhara Devi.
Recently, I went to Taplejung to worship Pathibhara Devi. I found around 18 thousand devotees worshipping Pathibhara Devi on a single day, and on average, around 10 thousand devotees are worshipping at Pathibhara Temple when the weather is favorable. Pathibhara Devi is staying at the top of the hill, so devotees have to walk at least 3 to 4 hours to reach the temple. So devotees have to take weather conditions into consideration too.
Pathibhara Devi Temple is situated in the eastern part of Nepal, but devotees from all over the nation are going to the temple to worship the goddess. So I am writing this post to make the devotees aware of a few things they need to keep in mind before going to worship at the temple. These points reflect the beliefs of the devotees who worship Pathibhara Devi. I have collected a few points that need to be taken into consideration.

If you are planning to go to Taplejung and worship Pathibhara Devi, then keep these things in consideration. Here are the following points I have collected while coming back from Taplejung:
1 If any of your family members have expired and your family is in mourning, it is believed that at such time you should not go for worship.
2. If you had a baby recently, you should not go to worship the goddess for six months after the baby was born.
3. If your wife is pregnant, it is believed that you should not go to worship the goddess.
4. At Pathibhara Temple, devotees make an offering of a he-goat, and if an offering is made, it should not be taken outside Taplejung district. Especially the Kabeli River, which is a border between Taplejung and Paanchthar, should not be crossed.

5. There is a belief that if you want to start a new business or new work, you can take the money that is offered to Pathibhara Devi by asking the pujari. And if you are taking the money as a blessing from Pathibhara Devi, then you have to return the money within the time you promise. You should consult with the pujari for more.
There are more points to keep in mind too, for which you can consult with the pujari. If you are planning to go to worship Pathibhara Devi, then you can go anytime, but you should keep the weather into consideration as you should do some preparation for rainy seasons. You can also enjoy snowfall during the winter season.
Devotees usually worship on Saturday and Tuesday, but some worship throughout the week. If you want to contact the pujari of Pathibhara Temple, then do write us at fursadpost@gmail.com. We will assist you on your journey to worship Pathibhara Devi.
