While traveling, money is important, but it is not safe to carry lots of money in your pocket. So you don’t need to worry about this case. In Nepal, Indians can use their ATM at a Nepali bank’s ATM machine and take out money as per their needs. Especially SBI Bank’s ATM is mostly preferred as SBI Bank is in Nepal and they have ATM machines in major cities.
Not only at ATMs, but you can also exchange Indian rupees in Nepal easily. At major places, Indian currency is accepted in the Nepali market. Due to the duplicate currency issue, some of the hotels may not accept Indian currency, but major hotels and markets accept Indian currency.
