Saugat Malla Signed ‘Hattichhap’ On Profit Sharing Basis

Saugat Malla has been signed in for the movie ‘Hattichhap’. After Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla has been roped into the lead role. The movie, to be directed by Simosh Sunuwar, is produced by Kiran Nepali. Kiran Nepali wants to make this movie bigger.

According to the report, Saugat Malla has not accepted the fee offered by Kiran Nepali. Saugat Malla was supposed to be signed for Rs. 20 lakh, but the actor turned it down. He gave producer Kiran Nepali an offer instead.

Saugat Malla asked Kiran Nepali to use that amount on making the movie better and give him a share of the profit earned by the movie. Saugat didn’t take any money as his fee. He wanted his fee to be used to make a good film, and he will accept his fee only if the film is profitable. His offer was a daring attempt and a big relief for a producer.

Kiran Nepali was pleased with the offer and happily signed Saugat Malla on it. Producer Kiran Nepali had made a cheque of 20 lakh for Saugat Malla as a fee. And now Saugat Malla is signed for free, and he will be paid only if the movie makes money. Producer Kiran Nepali refused to reveal the percentage share requested by Saugat Malla.

The Hattichhap film has already signed Dayahang Rai for a fee of Rs. 30 lakh. Dayahang Rai and Saugat Malla will be playing the leads in the movie. The lead actress for the movie will be finalized within a week.

According to producer Kiran Nepali, Saugat Malla liked the content and team of the movie, due to which he is confident that the movie will make money. Kiran Nepali wants to make this movie grander and bigger.

Recently, Hari Bansha Acharya and Madan Krishna Shrestha have also worked on “Mahapurush” without taking a single rupee as their fee. They will receive a portion of the profits if the film is successful.

Hattichhap is a social comedy movie that is written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and will be directed by Simosh Sunuwar. The film will be released next year. Kiran Nepali will finalize the lead actress and the rest of the cast and crew within a couple of weeks.
