Actor Dayahang Rai has recently signed a movie titled “Hattichhap,” which is produced by Kiran Nepali. Dayahang was featured in Kiran Nepali’s last movie, “Dui Nambari,” which was released this year only.
Dayahang Rai has given us back-to-back hit movies this year. Kabaddi 4, Ke Ghar Ke Dera, and Dui Nambari are three commercially successful movies that were released this year. Among these, Kabaddi 4 is the highest grossing Nepali movie.
After back-to-back commercial successes, Dayahang Rai has doubled his fee. According to the report, Dayahang Rai has signed the movie “Hattichhap” for a fee of around Rs 30 lakh. Dayahang Rai will be playing the lead role in the movie, while Saugat Malla is also part of it.
Dayahang Rai used to be paid between ten and fifteen lakh rupees per film. Analyzing the content and team, Dayahang used to charge from 10 lakhs to 15 lakhs for doing a movie, whereas he used to charge around 1.5 lakhs for a music video.
He has three hit movies this year. With three commercial successes, one has managed to break all the records and rank as the “Highest Grossing Nepali Movie.” And now Dayahang Rai has increased his fee with the change in time and situation.
Dayahang Rai accepts the idea of increasing his fee for doing a movie but doesn’t accept the idea of a fixed amount. He says, “Time has changed, and everything’s price has increased, so I have to increase my fee also. But my fee is not fixed, and I don’t charge the same amount. I consider content and team before deciding my fee. I can’t say my fixed fee.”
Although Dayahang Rai doesn’t confirm the amount, the movie’s producer confirms that Dayahang Rai’s fee increased by nearly double. According to Kiran Nepali, he has signed Dayahang Rai with an increased fee.
Hattichhap will also feature Saugat Malla in the lead role. Saugat Malla was signed today. Dayahang Rai and Saugat Malla will have the lead roles. The leading lady will be finalized within a week.
Hattichhap is written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and will be directed by Simosh Sunuwar. The movie is produced by Kiran Nepali.
Dayahang Rai’s two movies are releasing on Baisakh 1, targeting the New Year holiday. Jaari and Bihe Pass, the new film of Dayahang Rai, is releasing on New Year’s Day. Dayahang Rai will clash with his own movie. He is busy promoting both movies. Dayahang Rai is paired with Prakriti Shrestha on Bihe Pass, whereas he is paired with Miruna Magar in Jaari.
Dayahang Rai has mentioned that he will take care of his upcoming movies and make sure that they do not clash with each other. He will insure against a clash with his own film because the producers will suffer a loss in such a case.
